The 13th edition opened in the city of Brescia at three venues: the MO.CA – Center for New Cultures, housed in the historic Baroque Martinengo Colleoni di Malpaga palace; the Bunkervik – a former air-raid shelter built in the 1940s; and the Nuovo Eden, an arthouse cinema located in the Carmine neighborhood.
The first two venues hosted an exhibition and a program of performances. The Nuovo Eden cinema hosted screenings of video works from the CNAP collection and films selected in collaboration with the Brescia-based film team. Through recovered materials—drawn from television footage, the web, and archives—the works reveal narratives of resistance, tell stories, and open up new interpretive possibilities, focusing on the aspects of reality that are most difficult to grasp.
