The monumental staircase of the Natural History Museum hosted a site-specific performance in which dancer Maïté Jeannolin created an imaginary environment where bodies, lines of movement, and the architectural elements are intimately intertwined. Drawing on Oskar Schlemmer’s experience at the Bauhaus, Mriziga bases his research on the human figure—the “measure of all things”—in which the opposing polarities of the organic and the numerical are reconciled.
