Cecilia Mentasti

Cecilia Mentasti is a visual artist and graphic designer who lives and works between Cagno (CO) and Milan. She studied painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts (Milan) and trained as a registrar at the Botticino School of Restoration (BS). In 2019, she co-founded the artist-run space BRACE BRACE, whose members include Francesco Paleari and Francesca Finotti, Flavia Albu, Elisa Di Nofa, and Simone S. Melis. For the 2022–2023 season, she served as artistic director of AnonimaKunsthalle with the project Varese, an exploration of the previously unrecognized political power of the suburbs. Recent exhibitions include: Trimmed after a pattern (Milan, 2024), Serenata bipersonale with Enzo Forese (Bolzano, 2022), and Adesso no (Florence, 2022).
