K-Conjog is Fabrizio Somma, a composer, multi-instrumentalist and electronic music producer. His debut album, Il nuovo è al passo coi tempi, came out in 2009 (Snowdonia Dischi/Audioglobe). In 2010 the English label Dirty Demos released his electro-folk EP Le storie che invento non le so raccontare, which with director Francesco Lettieri also became a video project awarded at several festivals, including the Napoli Film Festival.
In 2012 came his second album, Set Your Spirit Freak!, on the American label Abandon Building Records, with which he also made the Origamibiro remix album (Shakkei) featuring Plaid, ISAN and Melodium. Here he freely reworks the lessons of minimalism, close in spirit to masters such as Yann Tiersen, John Adams and Wim Mertens, and shows his skill as a composer, moving between classical orchestral sounds and contemporary folktronica. The video for QWERTY, directed by Francesco Lettieri, won the PIVI award in 2012.
In 2010 he worked with Valerio Berruti, scoring his solo show Una sola moltitudine at Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan and the video installation E più non dimandare at tina b. gallery in Prague.
At Video Sound Art he played on July 11th 2014 at the Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan.
