I meet you, I remember you

An interactive video installation born of a collaboration with the virtual prototyping laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. The olfactory displays are instruments programmed to release scents: as the installation is experienced, the sensory stimuli and the position of the body invite the viewer to follow the discontinuous, floating flow of memory as it moves between past and present.

The projected videos are the result of an edit made from a film in the Prelinger Archive, shot in California in 1940. The fragrances were produced to order by Oikos Fragrances.
