Daedal

Milan, Italy

The duo Daedal was formed in Milan in 2014 as a project of pure musical experimentation, and took shape thanks to the strong understanding between its two members, Giacomo Carlone and Benoit Trigari, despite their different musical backgrounds. Their first EP, Ai, entirely self-produced, came out in 2015. Amid dominant rhythms and obsessive bass lines, the labyrinthine, complex arrangements have an electronic and progressive imprint, with strong cinematic and orchestral leanings and contemporary Japanese sounds. Live, the duo keeps a more acoustic, played approach, creating a duality between studio and stage.

At Video Sound Art the duo played on July 11th 2015 at the Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan, in the Sala Biancamano, on the same night as Vaghe Stelle.
