He began studying biology at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena and took his diploma in media design at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. His videos have been screened at the ZKM in Karlsruhe, the Wilhelm-Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, at over 250 festivals — Prix Ars Electronica, onedotzero, IFF Rotterdam, EMAF — and on television programmes around the world.
