Video Sound Art collaborates with secondary schools by proposing introductory paths to contemporary art, through PCTO courses in which students assist the festival team in the production and realisation phases of the exhibitions.

The aim is to implement a process of reciprocal acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, motivations necessary to make conscious professional and study choices. The courses are aimed at stimulating the active participation of students and developing the ability to design and create content from personal rework (creating podcasts, drafting texts, editorial projects, communication projects, making photos and videos, designing models).

The strategy involves a continuous exchange between the festival team members, artists, students and teachers through self-evaluation of the activated processes. The flexibility and permeability of the curatorial and educational departments were the key to outlining a methodology of co-design, in which traditional divisions – between the educational and curatorial functions – give way to contamination.
