The IV edition of Video Sound Art Festival increasingly moves towards a hybridization of the arts through the use of technological tools and languages.
Tipical of the 4th edition of the festival was the strong presence of illustrations animated through the videomapping technique. Main guest was Beppe Giacobbe, a well-known illustrator from Milan.
Next to him Video Sound Art showed artistic works by AntiVJ Collective, Frieder Weiss from German, Yannick Jacquet from Switzerland and Rajan Craveri from Turin.
The musical program was directed by the swiss artist Iokoi. Special guest was the Californian songwriter Julia Holter. For electronic music lovers the festival hosted Fabrizio Sum AKA K-Conjog and the performances of IOIC musicians (Institute of Incoherent cinematography) from Zurich , which played original live music perfomance on silent films.
