The festival’s sixth edition took place across five different venues: the Institut Français Milano, the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia «Leonardo Da Vinci», Villa Simonetta, the Teatro Franco Parenti and the Museo del Design 1880–1980.
Ta Erotika — Hidden doors: the collapse of reason before the erotic object, «ta erotika»; while «hidden doors», the subtitle, names the uncanny — the frightening thing that resurfaces when it should have stayed secret. Art thus becomes the privileged way into the erotic event.
Seven international artists explore the theme by mixing languages: video, sculpture, installation and performative action. In dialogue with the exhibitions, and for the first time, a programme of lectiones magistrales given by teachers of philosophy and theorists from the art world.
