In Chaîne de montage we watch fruit being produced by hand: the vision of a consumer society in which, in the name of efficiency and profit, we no longer have to wait for nature to develop at its own pace to enjoy the harvest. Fingers and hands come to life, twist and deform to create each time a new exotic fruit in which every miniaturised part is a letter of an alphabet that recreates a fruit instead of a word.
