Pierre Huyghe

Pierre Huyghe lives and works in New York, United States. Pierre Huyghe’s main interest is the real, as an occasion for experimenting with new interactions, including collaborations, interpersonal relations and social dialogue. His work is known internationally and has been shown in exhibitions around the world. Recent exhibitions include Variants, Kistefos Museum, Jevnaker (2022); After UUmwelt, LUMA Foundation, Arles (2021); UUmwelt, Serpentine Galleries, London (2018); and The Roof Garden, Metropolitan Museum, New York (2015). In 2012–2014 a major retrospective of Huyghe’s work travelled from the Centre Pompidou (France) to the Museum Ludwig (Germany) and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (USA).
