Manifesta 12 Palermo — collateral event

Talpe. Well Said, Old Mole

Marta Cereda e Laura Lamonea · 2018

Talpe. Well Said, Old Mole

From Gilles Clément’s essay The Planetary Garden: the mole, which works underground moving the soil, as a metaphor for those who attend to the neglected and hidden aspects of the real — artists working under a pseudonym, with long research outside the demands of the market.

Liceo Classico Umberto I, Palermo, 16–30 June 2018. Curated by Marta Cereda and Laura Lamonea, curatorial assistant Thomas Ba. Collateral event of Manifesta 12.

With Oli Bonzanigo (with Emanuele Wiltsch Barberio), Massimo Della Pola, Elisabetta Falanga, Francesca Ferrari, Francesco Fossati, Lynne Kouassi, Evangelia Kranioti, Rachele Maistrello, Enrique Ramirez, Thadeusz Tischbein, Bibi Yamamoto and the ASSAB ONE collective.

The project developed over six months of work with Liceo Classico Umberto I and its head teacher Vito Lo Scrudato, with the involvement of the students.
