Mediation for contemporary art and music: the core of the project that won Fondazione Cariplo’s Cultura di qualità call.
The 2020 co-design projects formed a central part of Kunsthalle for music — mediation for contemporary art and music, winner of the Cultura di qualità call of Fondazione Cariplo, through which Video Sound Art proposed actions to foster audience development and an artistic programme devoted entirely to contemporary voices.
The activities took place both in person and online; to increase interaction during the remote sessions, virtual co-design tools such as multimedia whiteboards and maps were used. After a series of meetings with the team, the artists and the organisations involved, the students of Liceo Carducci in Milan followed one of the paths on offer: cultural mediation, virtual cultural mediation, video and photography, press office and communications.
