Vaghe Stelle

Turin, Italy

Vaghe Stelle is the project of Turin-based musician and producer Daniele Mana, inspired by the krautrock scene of the 1970s: rarefied atmospheres aimed at the heart of the dancefloor, with hypnotic rhythms and psychedelic sounds.

In December 2009 he released his first single, Cicli 1 EP, on Margot Records, receiving positive feedback from musicians such as Extrawelt, Agoria and James Holden. In 2010 the track Emiciclo 1 was included in Modeselektion Vol. 1, the compilation curated by Modeselektor. 2011 brought two remixes on Margot Records, one for the post-punk band The Units, and an EP for Opilec Records; in June he worked with Max Casacci on a sound installation for the Venice Biennale, and in November he released his second EP for Margot, Le cose ferme.

At Video Sound Art he played on July 11th 2015 at the Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan, in the Sala Biancamano, after Daedal.
