This small-scale photographic project shows the viewer the aftermath of the natural disaster, revealing the subtle traces of the site\u2019s history and the dense atmosphere of the forest. The format is the same as that of 1920s thank-you postcards dedicated to cities and evokes an intimate dimension. The photographs\u2014some taken through a mirror pointed upward\u2014synthesize, through the filter of light, the relationship between the forest, the undergrowth, and the sky: the storm raging overhead, as in the imagery of the divine.
