The festival<\/h1>

Milan\u2019s contemporary art festival, since 2011.<\/p>

Since 2011 the editions have taken place in exhibition venues inhabited by their communities, outside the ordinary art circuit: state schools, underground spaces, theatres, sports facilities, scientific institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each project is preceded by a study of the social and historical character of the place, so that the works connect with the conditions of the venue. The festival opens a multidisciplinary dialogue between installations, performances, concerts, screening programmes, editorial projects and the public programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting between the festival staff, the artists, the curators and the host venues is a constant exchange. Curating is no longer only a matter of caring for art objects: it means taking in different views of the world, attempting a rewriting, and putting the idea of authorship in common.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
