He makes animations and performs as a VJ.<br>Motomichi creates a variety of characters and animations, which have been shown around the world in exhibitions. These include Sundance Digital Film Festival, Pictoplasma, the Res Festival and Neuberger Museum of Art in New York.<br>His characters seem to represent the perfect union of opposing forces like good and evil, darkness and light. Using only black, red and white graphic elements, jolts of razor sharp editing, combined with a minimalist approach to design Motomichi yields maximum impact. In 2007 he was one of the founders of Patamagazine, a magazine on the contamination of art and design that was awarded the ADI selection for the Compasso d&#8217;Oro. After training at various design studios, he became a freelancer in 2009 and had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous creative entities. In 2011 he co-founded Pistol Shrimp, a research project active in the field of video art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Michael Paul Young<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"794\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/videosoundart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Schermata-2013-10-27-alle-19.33.49.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1143\" srcset=\"https:\/\/videosoundart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Schermata-2013-10-27-alle-19.33.49.png 794w, https:\/\/videosoundart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Schermata-2013-10-27-alle-19.33.49-300x197.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 794px) 100vw, 794px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael Paul Young was grown in Tennessee, spread in Baltimore and settled in Asia. His project Designgraphik helped to shape online design throughout the late 90s and early 00s, and earned him a Chrysler Design Award nomination at age 23. He co-founded the design resource YouWorkForThem in 2001, and since 2009 has served as its sole manager and director.<br>Young\u2019s innovative work has been exhibited worldwide, and recently his animation graced the 500,000 LED pixels of U2\u2019s 360\u00b0 Tour. He has won the Clio and the Cannes Gold Cyber Lion, as well as many other awards, and is a sought-after speaker at the world\u2019s most renowned design festivals. He works daily as an artist, designer, photographer, director, producer and programmer.
