Video Sound Art’s education department organises formative courses, workshops, seminars and public meetings at secondary schools and universities, with the collaboration of artists, researchers, curators and architects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– to foster a new approach to contemporary art
– establish a dialogue with the recipients of cultural programmes
– to make the artistic message a tool for reinterpreting the contemporary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some institutions have been decisive in setting trends and considering the educational and audience outreach role an intrinsic feature of the exhibition identity – be it a museum, a festival or a biennial – on the same level as curating. The encounter between these two realities can create programmes based on the development of interdepartmental co-design experiences, building a bridge between those who produce culture and those who experience it. From this perspective, Video Sound Art has been committed for years to promoting participatory creations, in which the public is an active participant, without renouncing the experimental practices that characterise contemporary language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
