The 10th edition will be inaugurated by the Chilean artist and director Enrique Ramirez, finalist of the Duchamp 2020 prize, for whom Video Sound Art is organizing the first solo exhibition in Italy, that will take place at the same time as his show at Centre George Pompidou in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idyllic atmospheres of Ramirez’s landscapes are often distorted by a superimposition of signs that transform historical facts into myth, existing places into postmodern dreamlike visions. Dazzling crossings in the salt desert in Bolivia and long oceanic journeys take the shape of new conceptual spaces.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition, consisting of installations, films, sculptures <\/strong>and photographs<\/strong>, unfolds in the suggestive spaces of the swimming pool, creating correspondences and visual suggestions: the changing rooms, the internal spaces, the liberty-style building, up to the immense swimming pool with three screens on its side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brief radio tracks inspired by the thematic research of the X edition will accompany the participants in the spaces of the festival, through a play of resonances and connections with particular reference to Chile, Ramirez’s work on the ocean and Tondelli’s poetic suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
