In the year 2018 the open call will be carried out in collaboration with the institute Giovanni Caselli, headquarters of the first Real Porcelain Factory of Capodimonte (Naples) and the Museum.

Participants were invited, with the support of the artisans, to experiment with cooking, patinas and decorations, with the aim of encouraging the creation of an aesthetic and historical dialogue between the new productions and the manufactures that have followed each other over the decades, Video Sound Art is creating an interactive graphic aimed at the diffusion of some works in the Museum of Capodimonte.

G. Caselli Rare Arts Institute

Immersed in the Real Bosco di Capodimonte, the G. Caselli Rare Arts Institute, home of the first Royal Porcelain Factory of Capodimonte founded by Charles III of Bourbon in the 18th century, still contributes to the dissemination of ceramic culture through its workshops and processing departments that are unique in Campania and the world for their skilled workers and their artistic manual skills.

Institute Director Valter Luca De Bartolomeis introduces us to a place where knowledge has been handed down and is projected towards a contemporaneity worthy of the history of Capodimonte porcelain.
